Krogius Psychotherapy
Nested on the bank on the Milwaukee River, Krogius Psychotherapy is a small private practice. Located in a historic building in Thiensville (the Old Mill), the clinic is easily accessible from I-43 and I-41. Appointments are available in person and/or via Telehealth.
My approach
In my practice I take a strength-based approach that is grounded in the principles of self-determination, resilience and the belief in one’s innate ability to heal. I believe that as the body has a built in capacity to heal itself, so does the mind. Everything we need to be our best selves, is already inside of us. Sometimes, the biggest challenge is to recognize our internal resources and access them.
My philosophy is guided by the eco-systems perspective where the impact of the socio-political environment on individuals, families and communities is acknowledged.
I work collaboratively with my patients and, when appropriate, may include significant people in your life. Together we will identify barriers and obstacles to achieving your goals. We will also explore ways to address these obstacles, as we tap into your own unique qualities and strengths.
